5. Rebound. This can occur when the ball stays on one side (from a block), making the players "rebound", or continue to play the ball.
Physical Skills That Should Be Developed
1. Quickness. Many people think quickness and speed are the same. A volleyball player does not require blazing speed, but having quick reflexes is a big bonus.
2. Vertical Jump. All things being equal, a volleyball player that can jump higher than an opponent has a large advantage. Being able to leap up to hit a ball before your opponent does can help your team to win more points.
